Debbie is the Head of Education Programmes for Cyber Security Challenge UK. She has been central in growing the organisation’s education offering, developing a programme of activity for UK universities, updating the schools offering, and now, adding a pathway for further education institutions.

Debbie has become a mentor for many of the young people looking to start cyber security careers, helping them to secure placements and jobs and providing key training to help them become more employable. She works closely with Challenge alumni, sponsors and partners and within the European Cyber Security community – forging a network across the continent for our brightest talent.

Debbie has a background in education. She is a qualified teacher, and has taught in Sixth Forms and Schools throughout Worcestershire. She also worked as a coursework moderator and examinations marker for 10 years in business and economics. She has extensive experience of bringing business and education together, having held roles within the Education Business Partnership, Heart of England Fine Foods as well as Cyber Project Lead within STEMnet at the University of Worcester.
