Policy Manager - GDPR

Jeremy is policy manager - GDPR at techUK, responsible for techUK’s work on Data Protection policy, including the incoming General Data Protection Regulation, ePrivacy and International Data Transfers. He also leads techUK's Intellectual Property and Copyright work, including the Intellectual Property Policy Group, as well as being involved in techUK’s policy work on Brexit and online platforms, amongst other tech policy areas. Jeremy originally joined techUK in January 2016 as Programme Manager for Cloud, Big Data, Analytics and AI, helping to drive techUK’s work across those programmes. Prior to joining techUK, Jeremy worked in the House of Commons for a number of years running a Member of Parliament’s office, undertaking all research and campaign functions. He holds a BA (Hons) degree in Politics from the University of York and an MSc in Public Policy from University College London.
